Why quality matters: The superior kitchen cabinets we use at Anne Wright Interiors

When designing a new kitchen, it is easy to focus on what you can see: the colour of the doors, the worktop, the handles, and the overall style. But what you don't always see is just as important. Behind every beautiful kitchen is the furniture that makes up the structure of the room.

At Anne Wright Interiors, we believe that a kitchen should be built to last. That's why we have been installing Superior cabinets supplied by East Coast Fittings Ltd for more than sixteen years. We believe their specification is among the best available, providing the strength, flexibility and attention to detail needed to create a genuinely bespoke kitchen.

What makes a Superior cabinet different?

There is a common perception that there isn't much difference between kitchen cabinets. However, the materials, construction and manufacturing methods can make a significant difference to the finished kitchen.

Superior cabinets use German Egger board, which has a high-density construction incorporating resin to provide additional strength. The cabinets are 18mm thick, including the backboard, and use cam and dowel fixings to create a robust and secure structure.

There is also a choice of 13 different carcass colours, giving us greater flexibility when designing a kitchen around your chosen doors, worktops and interior scheme.

Designed around your kitchen - not the other way around

One of the biggest advantages of the Superior cabinet system is its bespoke manufacturing. The cabinets can be made to measure in both width and depth, allowing us to make the best possible use of the available space. Rather than filling awkward gaps with large infills, we can design the furniture to fit the room properly.

This is particularly important when creating a bespoke kitchen. Every millimetre counts, whether you are working with a compact kitchen or a large open-plan space.

Each cabinet is manufactured to suit the customer's requirements, with the minimum amount of unnecessary drilling. Unlike generic cabinets that may contain numerous pre-drilled holes for different applications, our furniture is made specifically for the kitchen being designed. The result is a cleaner, more considered installation with furniture that is tailored to the individual room.

Quality hinges and drawer systems

The details inside your kitchen matter too. We can supply Blum or Hettich hinges, both well-established names in kitchen furniture hardware. For drawers, we offer Blum Antaro drawers with glass sides or dovetail oak drawers, depending on the style and specification of the kitchen. These choices allow us to create kitchens that aren't just beautiful, but practical and enjoyable to use every day.

Bespoke kitchen doors to suit your style

Once the cabinet specification is right, the doors provide the opportunity to bring your personal style into the design. We work with several door suppliers, giving our customers a wide choice of styles, colours and materials. Options include laser-edged laminate doors, solid wood painted doors, sprayed polyester doors and bare wood doors suitable for painting.

For customers looking for something truly individual, paint-to-order options are available in RAL colours, making it possible to achieve a particular colour or coordinate the kitchen with the rest of your home.

More than half of the door ranges we offer are also available made to measure. This gives us even greater freedom when designing a bespoke kitchen, while helping us maintain competitive pricing.

Modern handle-less kitchen designs

Kitchen styles naturally evolve, and one of the trends we continue to see is the demand for handle-less kitchens. At Anne Wright Interiors, we can offer a selection of modern handle-less door options, including distinctive J-handle designs and the increasingly popular handle-less rail system.

These designs can create a clean, contemporary appearance while maintaining the practical storage and functionality you expect from a well-designed kitchen.

Bespoke kitchens designed around you

For us, creating a kitchen isn't simply about choosing a range from a catalogue. It's about understanding the room, how you use it and what you want from the finished space.

Using Superior cabinets, made-to-measure furniture and a wide selection of door styles and finishes, we can create kitchens that make the most of the available space while reflecting your individual taste.

Whether you're looking for a traditional painted kitchen, a contemporary handle-less design or something completely bespoke, we can help bring your ideas together.
